Enrichment Program

GOAL
The goal of our Gifted Program is to enable students to excel in education by providing tools that will stimulate and motivate students to higher levels of thinking. We want to increase the students’ overall academic and intellectual strengths. In order to accomplish this, the Enrichment Program is offered to second through fifth grade students who show exceptional ability in a particular subject area.

ACTIVITIES
Subject areas rotate quarterly and include Language Arts, Mathematics, Social Studies and Science content. During their assigned quarter(s), the students meet with the Enrichment teacher once a week for 30-40 minutes. They work in collaborative groups, with a partner, or individually in open-ended projects. The content coordinates with their academic curriculum although is offered at a more challenging and creative level. Through this process, it is our goal that students will think outside of the box and be challenged to reach their full, God-given potential.
