  • NEW STUDENTS

    We are excited that you are investigating Heartland for your child’s education. We are honored to help you through this process and encourage you to call the school with any questions you might have as you work through this list of requirements. 


    REQUIREMENTS

    The following must be completed before the registration process is complete and a student is placed on a class roll.


    1. Submit the online inquiry form: Contact Sarah Drokin

    2. School Tour

    3. Meet with President

    4. Submit standardized test results (Ex: Iowa Test of Basic Skills, State Testing, Terra Nova, etc.) or Complete Grade Level Placement Testing at HCS/Kindergarten Screening; 504/IEP 

    5. Principals check references (email reference form to references listed on application)

    6. Meeting with Principal

    7. Acceptance Letter

    8.Submit Deposit to receive Enrollment Package 


  • RETURNING STUDENTS

    We love your family and look forward to working with you for another year in the education of you student.  If you have any questions or concerns about re-registering please contact the office.  We will do our very best to help you. 


    REQUIREMENTS

    Parents will log on to their Renweb Parent’s Web account using the link under "Resources" on our website. Then choose the Enrollment link and follow directions.   

    The $250/student, non-refundable, deposit must be submitted online with your form. 


    PLEASE NOTE: After April 1, unfilled spots may be filled with new students, so don't wait too long to re-register! 

    The balance of registration is due by June 30.  After this date students on the waiting list will fill these spots.

    Any unpaid tuition or fees from the previous year must also be paid by July 15 to confirm your child's place for the coming year.

TUITION & FEES

  • TUITION & FEES FOR 2023-2024

    New families can register to attend Heartland through FACTS/Renweb after March 1st.  A non-refundable deposit of $400/student is required for your student to be enrolled for the new school year.  Your child is not enrolled until the fee is paid in full.


    REGISTRATION FEES

      

    Kindergarten and New Student Registration: $400 (Kindergartner must be 5 years old by August 1.)

    Current Student Registration: $250 (Due by April 15th to guarantee enrollment) 


    TUITION RATES 


    Grade K-8: $6,165

    Grades 9-12: $8,400

    Enrollment is closed for the 2023-2024 school year. Please contact the school at 330-482-2331 to be put on our waiting list for next year.




    TUITION PAYMENT OPTIONS

    1. Annual Payment Option: Payment is due in full by August 15th to receive a 5% discount.

    2. Eleven-Month Payment Option: August – June with payments due by the 15th of each month.

  • FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE

    Ohio EdChoice Traditional Scholarship:   Eligibility is determine if you reside in an EdChoice listed district with the building identified for your child.  Other restrictions regarding what grade you will be in and where you currently attend school.   Please contact Cindy Russo for more details.


    Ohio EdChoice Expansion Scholarship:  All familiies who reside in Ohio are eligible for the EdChoice Expansion Scholarship.  


    Heartland Scholarship Fund:  Financial Assistance is a privately-funded program.  Applications are available by request to Ronnie Morgan. Applications are confidentially reviewed by the Finance Committee and are awarded based on your situation. Priority deadline date is May 15th of each year.  Families must reapply each year.

  • BUS INFORMATION

    Heartland offers bus transportation to and from group stops currently in the Salem, Austintown, Boardman areas.  The fee is $425 per child divided over 10 months.  Local school districts are required by the state to either bus your child or reimburse your family the expense if Heartland is within 30 minutes of your district.  It is your responsibility to contact your district to add your name on the list before the school year starts.  This refund is currently $500 per student given at the end of the school year.  We encourage you to call and not miss out on reimbursement.
