COLLEGE CREDIT PLUS

College Credit Plus

Heartland offers the opportunity to earn college credit as a high school student by participating in our Post-Secondary Program. Students are able to split a school day between HCS and a local college (primarily Kent State University, Salem Branch or Youngstown State University).  While continuing their high school education and all that Heartland has to offer, they are are also able to begin their college courses. Tuition for the college courses are waived for all high school students. This is an extremely beneficial program for those who want to advance in their college education before they even begin their freshman year. The college courses taken also double as credit for high school. They typically transfer to whichever school students choose to attend after graduation from HCS.
