PARENT TEACHER FELLOWSHIP

Parent-Teacher Fellowship is a group of parents that work on various events throughout the year to promote fellowship among the teachers and parents to support and encourage Heartland’s students and staff. The mission of PTF is to unite parents and teachers in the common goal of growing their children in Christ through supporting, encouraging and giving each the opportunity to serve within Heartland Christian School. PTF works year-round on activities and events for the HCS students and staff. 

SOME EVENTS SPONSORED BY PTF

  • Refreshment tables at Orientation, Night with Dad, See You at the Pole and Math Olympics
  • Overseeing elementary room parents and class parties
  • Dinner for staff during Parent-Teacher Conferences
  • Christmas Staff Luncheon
  • Staff Appreciation Luncheon
  • Reading Minutes Reward Outing
  • End-of-Year Picnic Treat
  • Miscellaneous other treats for the students and staff


VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES INCLUDE 

  • Baking cookies for various events
  • Making and serving dinner or lunch for HCS staff on various occasions
  • Assisting at the book fair
  • Coordinating the Christmas Shop 
  • Helping with the annual Heartland Auction
  • Serving refreshments at special events 

Please be sure to clip and turn in to your child’s classroom the “Box Tops for Education” on products you purchase. The funds from those help us to provide these activities. 

JOIN US!
It’s a casual gathering of parents for fellowship, to learn about happenings at HCS, to meet with event committees and to create treats for students and staff. We hope to see you there!
